Earlier, Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismayiloglu said that the country plans to resume flights to 40 countries in June, including Uzbekistan, but this did not happen.
Turkish Airlines announced the resumption of flights to Uzbekistan from August 1. According to the flight map on the Turkish airline`s website, it is planned to make four flights a week between Istanbul and Tashkent.
"After being away for a while, we are back to the sky. As a result of our meticulous work with national and international health authorities, we regain our loved ones, discoveries and memories to be accumulated through flights with healthier and safer standards.

The opening of air traffic between Uzbekistan and Turkey has not yet been announced officially.
